wow facebook own google
btw i want “The exact equipment I use to create my own videos…” videos
@reincarnage256 Yeah Facebook is really killing it! I have your request on my to-do list for videos – thanks for reminding me!

Just easier to find things through other people like you said already. You can’t google a picture (yet). What i mean is if you see a skin care product in a store and remember the colours and design and font and later return to the store and they don’t carry that product anymore, you can’t google it unless you know the name. With social networking you can ask others if they know the product you’re talking about. That’s why i use yahoo answers rather than google most of the time.
@JayHyphenMichael Ah good old Yahoo answers! I have used that many a time as well in the past! Although, nowadays if I want a quick answer, I just tweet it and often get multiple responses back. Such an awesome time to live in!

Good job I have some social network accounts with facebook and even the one time front runner Myspace. I like the facebook fan pages more and more especially to add some html on the front of a fan page just helps attract people to sign up to our stuff!
Twitter, I need to go back and do that properly I think lol!
Great video!
@WayneTully1 The way you feel about Twitter is the way I feel about Facebook lol! I really need to fix up my strategy there a bit… or at the least, just figure out how to use it properly for my business!
Thanks for your input!

I’m getting my videos now. I love video marketing, blogging and find sometimes Facebook gets a bit dull for me and twitter…well I see where people tend to spam their links a lot so I’m getting my cup of hot tea and going to watch the videos! Thanks db
@ericsurf6 Oh yeah that movie ROCKS! I loved it, so inspiring! Almost makes me me want to start up my own social media site!
It’s all about business development and the progress done analytically making any party is identifying strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat. As Marketing Philosophy is concerned, every business party moving forward with these driven factors; product driven, sales driven, and customer driven.
As a user (like me) must look into it for what thing giving advantageous to my business. As innovation I defined it as; create new or new extension to the existing or duplication or synthesize.
What lens do you use for your dslr?
It gives an awesome Depth of Field.
Or is there any lens you recommend?
@GideonShalwick Completely agree. Well, good luck with your business and everything.
Hey Gideon,
I watched Mike Koenigs video and it was great. I had watched few of his other videos before ($200 studio, video interviews etc). Those were amazing as well. It would always remind about you and the strategies you used to discuss on your blog and in the RapidVideoBlogging report. It made me to go through your report again and implement a few things instantly.
Great video again Gideon. You have really made us think now. Will it be Search Engines or Social Media?
my only question is why would someone type google into google?
Hi Gideon! Great video and content. Mike is an awesome Marketer and does really go out of his way to help people! Thanks for sharing…

I’m not giving Mike Koenings my email. I had to remove myself from your email list, Gideon because they were very spammy and had little to no info in them. You may think I am harsh but I am telling the truth. If you really wanted to “help” people you would just give us tips here instead of always trying to get us to sign up for some cunt’s email list.
You mentioned that people can’t search for a product if they don’t know the name, but I would disagree. People don’t search for a product by name. They search for solutions to their problems. That is why search engines are so much more effective than social media today. People don’t know what they are looking for until they search for relevant keywords (which is why advertisers buy niche-relevant keywords and not product-name keywords).

The whole “viral” thing really is over-rated… the spreading isn’t 1 > 3 > 9. In most niche businesses, it is far more likely to deteriorate over time. You might use paid advertising to get 5000 visits, that will recommend to 500 > 50 > 5. So the original visitors actually make up 75%+ of your user base. The share-rate isn’t somehow magically exponential.
Whenever I hear someone recommending a “go-viral” strategy, I wonder if they would also recommend a “lottery ticket” savings strategy…
Search engines are still the best way to reach customers. Social media sites are for “casual” browsing while search engines are for doing “research”. You are correct, people can’t search for a product they don’t know about. Which is why they search for solutions to problems, and why advertisers buy niche-related keywords to connect with their customers.
When it comes to niche markets, what are the chances you will have a friend share/recommend exactly what you are looking for that day?
Excellent points all around.
I got a chuckle out of “word of mouse”, so true…
Keep this stuff coming!
The stats are what caught me, great reminder that a social media strategy needs to be implemented along with everything else. I have also watched from afar trying to learn how not to spam. Maybe I will learn from your videos.
‘word of mouse’ marketing powerful and free!
Why would more people type ” google ” into google than people type ” facebook ” ? They will already be at google.com therefore not having to type ” google ” I understand your main point of users focus is turning toward social platforms.
