Career Opportunities for Bachelor of Business – Management major.?
I’m just going to start my management major next week-until next year.
But yesterday, my friend told me that her friend although she got a very good mark in the university, she was quite hard to get a job.
So, is there someone that has taken management major and get successful? or at least, tell me the career opportunities. Because I heard someone in Finance and Accounting Major could end up as a manager while management student can’t be on their line a.k.a not as flexible.
With the economy in its present state, it’s really tough for a lot of new graduates to find jobs right about now, although people who majored in accounting, nursing, and teaching aren’t feeling the effects as much, if at all. As far as being a management major, it’s very flexible. Most management majors start off as management trainees at a company and eventually move into a management position after 6 months-2 years. But you can also pursue careers in other areas as well such as human resources, purchasing, logistics, sales, etc.
Right now, I’m applying for a position as an advisor at a school, so opportunities are limitless with a degree in management. I’ve already interviewed for 2 other positions, was offered the job both times, but decided to go another route. So there’s to show you that you won’t necessarily get stuck. You get out of it what you put into it. And right now with today’s economy, students just have to put in some extra effort and be a little creative when it comes to finding a job.
FYI: I really wouldn’t count on Finance jobs being too plentiful within the next year or so (economy). But accounting positions are abundant.
Anyone can manage! Usually the prick without the degree gets the position because he/she is a bully and has nothing else in life to do along with **** everyone up the ***. Trust me, go for finance or accounting! More than likely there are managment classes included in those programs of study.
