  1. buy online from yourdigitaleletronics.com or beterati.com
    its 50% cheaper.

  2. garage sales

  3. You can find liquidation sales but… It’s risky because you are dealing with usually returned items or refurbished or as is heaven forbid. I don’t have the answer however I can point you in the right direction. Look to japan and china suppliers. Dig on the internet they have to be there. Find wholesalers, so you are the middle man not some distribution site. Hope this helps. :) Good Luck!

  4. Through kind of personal experience, i would say you should really invest.
I tried to help a friend, he found the sites, and i helped him with the listings and stuff. Unfortunately, it turned out he had found a scamming site.
If you do choose to use a ’single site’ then only pay for your stuff with paypal.
AVOID ANY COMPANY THAT REQUIRES PAYMENT THROUGH MONEYGRAM AND WESTERN UNION.
If i was you, i would stick to http://www.esources.co.uk/ and don’t be afraid to ask people’s advice/experiences when you think you have found a supplier.
Many people keep the information close to their chests because they want to keep the profits/buisness for themselves. Ebay is a good place for exposure, but think carefully.
    On a £350 Electronic Item
    Listing fee: £4.00 (roughly)
    FVF: £15.00
Then you have to consider paypal (if you use it) (most ebayers prefer it)
    PayPal: £12.00 fee
    Postage: £15.00
    Item: £250
    Profit: £50.00
Consider setting up a website, and sell a few items on ebay just for the exposure.

On your own website, (if you do set one up) you can use Google checkout (free till 2008, but running up to christmas, 1 1/2 months is good)
Nochex (i think, but cheaper than Paypal.
Also, list on other auction sites, ebay may have a well established name, but other sites have been around long enough now, and so have the complaints about ebay.

    Good luck whatever you decide

    STAY AWAY FROM
http://www.ele-export.com (they have loads of sites to scam people, but they are also very stupid. They use the same surname and the same postcode on all their sites)

I forgot to say, getting items from abroad seems cheap, but you have to take import duty/tax into consideration. If you do succeed, consider setting up an account with DHL/parcel force or other international courier service. You will get cheaper rates and they will help you when it comes to knowing what import tax to charge.
Also be honest when you are importing goods. Although some ebayers prefer that the item they want is in the UK, they would rather know if an item is coming from abroad usually with a manufacturer’s warranty. Also state that any problems, will mean sending the item abroad.
Custom will be a bit slow, but once you get that first 1 or 2 customers, you will be fine.
