How to estimate the value of used books?

I want to sell my college books (not online but hanging ads on campus) but i don’t know how much percentage should i deduct from the original price. I want to make sure that the prices make sense for me and for those who are going to read my ad.
our bookstore doesn’t have any used books , so i have no idea

  1. Check out the prices on used textbooks at your college bookstore. They may even have some of the same ones you’re selling. Make your asking price 10 to 20% less than that, and put that percentage on your hanging ads.

  2. Just try to get 20% of what the original value was. That is about what they are worth.
