What is the average price of stocks in 2010?
Just wondering
Also if you have a graph how the average price has changed, that would be great
Alright, so I meant out of all the stocks out there available for purchase, I would like to know the average price of all of them. So, if you added the price of every stock together, and divided by the number of stocks, this would be the answer I was looking for.

Go to http://www.finance.yahoo.com. You’ll get all the info on any stock.
Since some stocks are in the thousands, most in the hundreds and others penny stocks, there would be no way to figure an average without knowing the number of shares for each and every stock.
Your question makes no sense. Are you talking about cost per share? If so that is a completely irrelevant number, it means absolutely nothing. If you are asking whether stocks are higher now than a year ago, all you have to do is look at one of the many averages, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, Standard & Poor 500, NASDAQ, etc.
Go to Yahoo Finance or Google Finance and type in Dow Jones Industrial Average, then click 6 months, 1 year or whatever timeline you want and a graph will pop up.
