What is the best credit cardfor a young person looking to repair bad credit?

I’m young (19) and have had some credit problems: medical bills, and also bills that didn’t reach me when I moved, so they were late. I’m on stable financial ground now and have heard that a credit card is a good way to repair my history- if I use it sensibly and pay it off every month. What is the best card for someone like me to get, and why?

  1. You can try HSBC – they offer some attracive subprime credit cards, including one that offers rewards.

A site I’ve used for info in the past …

    Best of luck.

  2. Hey! I am in a similar situation and someone reccomended Orchard Bank to me. [orchardbank.com] I have REALLY bad credit, like I had seriously dug myself into a hole, and I got approved. I have a card with a really low limit which makes it easy to manage with my credit payments. Check it out!

  3. Continental Finance is very good for bad credits. http://bestcreditcardratings.com/bad-credit
