What's better in the long-run, buying a house, co-op, or condo?

My family is in some trouble and need to move soon. Would buying a house, co-op, or condo benefit us more in the future? We currently live in an apartment not government owned. My dad is only a waiter, he’s the only one that works in the family of two including myself…Any advise?

well seeing as i dont know what a co-op is id have to say house because a condo sounds like a mexican drug dealers home. i say house because if you get into trouble again you can always sell the house and get some money back. the downside is that a condo is probobly more affordable.

i hope you get out of this situation quickly.
    all the best
