Will 2010 also be a good year for buying/selling a home?
I know the government is offering great incentives for home buyers this year, but will next year be just as good if not better?

Buying, yes, for more than just the tax incentive. There will still be plenty of foreclosed homes at reduced prices. Selling, no, because there will still be plenty of foreclose homes at reduced prices.
Since we are seeing signs that the recession is fading, it is doubtful the home buying incentives will be renewed (not to mention the overall cost to the government). In all likelihood, the real estate market will remain flat for up to 18 months with maybe some higher level of sales as buyers take advantage of lower home prices/valuations but little upward movement in prices until the market clears the excess inventory caused by the heightened level of foreclosures.
Sure.
Any year is a good year if you know what you’re doing and use the right strategy.
It looks like the housing market will probably be in pretty decent shape in 2010.
probally
it’s hard to tell where our economy will be then but we can’t go anywhere but up from here. so many people’s homes are ebing foreclosed so I’msure those homes will be selling for a lot less but if your trying to sell a house I couldn’t honestly tell you. there are cities that are in better condition for selling homes.

this isn’t for buying or selling homes, its just for good places to live during the recession
A good time for selling would be a bad time for buying. A bad time for selling is a good time for buying. Supply and Demand.
I think home prices will be low in 2010 also. No need to hurry and buy a home now.
